James Hyland, B.Comm. – Managing Director

Jamie Hyland is a founding partner in Tribeca and provides corporate development services on behalf of several publically listed companies in Canada. Mr. Hyland has over 20 years of experience as a financial and marketing consultant, a corporate founder and manager of a number of early stage public and private Canadian businesses. His industry expertise includes hospitality, publishing, financial services, technology, mining, alternative energy and healthcare appliances. Mr. Hyland has an extensive network of contacts with the financial community including fund managers, industry analysts and media, throughout North America, the United Kingdom and continental Europe. Mr. Hyland has also worked with a major mining and resource publication based in Vancouver BC.

 

Mr. Hyland earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University of Victoria, BC. Canada.

Glen R. Watson – Managing Partner

Glen Watson is a seasoned dealmaker with a track record of marketing private and publicly traded companies in diverse industry sectors and raising tens of millions in capital. Over the past 20 years, he has consulted with, and promoted small cap and hyper-growth companies significantly increasing their market and shareholder value. His international experience includes projects in Canada, US, Mexico, Asia, and Africa over the past decade.

 

He is currently a Vice President of Corporate Development for Small Cap Power and Ubika Research which are part of The Gravitas Financial Group, which is an integrated financial and advisory services firm led by proven experts in financial and capital markets services.

Patricio Crichigno, Ph.D – Director of Government Affairs

Dr. Crichigno provides political advisory services for public investments and regulatory framework to political leaders (e.g., governors, ministers, etc.) and political parties at the Federal, Provincial and Municipal levels of government across Latin America. His practice specializes in infrastructure, mining, and public regulatory frameworks.

 

He is a tenured professor of political economics at the National University and advises on multi-billion dollar infrastructure and development projects within Argentina. Dr. Crichigno actively teaches and works within the Jesuit University community worldwide to develop cross border opportunities for education and economic development.

 

Dr. Crichigno worked from 1990-2000 as a diplomat and Special Advisor of the United Nations’ Economic Commission for Latin America where he and his team advised Presidents, et al., on economic privatizations, infrastructure investments and social programs throughout the region.

Dr. Crichigno is both a U.S. and Argentine citizen. He earned his Ph.D in Political Science, MA in Economics, and BA in Political Science at the Univ. of California, Santa Barbara.

Patrick Fitzsimmons – Advisor

Mr. Fitzsimmons is an accomplished business executive with extensive sales, marketing and management experience in information technology and the telecommunications industry. He possesses a strong knowledge of existing and emerging technologies and their applications relative to client’s needs.  Has shown a proven ability to interface with company resources to ensure business solutions meet customer requirements.

 

Mr. Fitzsimmons was a founder and Director of Alternet Systems, a provider of e-commerce mobile transaction and virtual currency services.  Patrick also served with AT&T, Newbridge, Ascom Timeplex and Rogers Cable providing telecommunications products and services. He has held sales and management positions with Bell & Howell Imaging Systems, NCR and Merisel Distribution.  Mr. Fitzsimmons studied business administration at British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in Vancouver, Canada

Brian Morrison, B.Comm – Senior Advisor, Compliance and Public Company Administration

Mr. Brian Morrison has over nine years of industry experience in the area of public company administration.  Since June 2008, he has been a self-employed consultant for public and private companies.

 

His directorship duties include attending board meetings and audit committee meetings, reviewing business plans and helping companies to raise capital.  His corporate secretary and CFO duties include liaising with auditors, lawyers, and regulators regarding financings and corporate matters.  He is also responsible for regulatory filings with Canada Revenue Agency, TSX Venture, and various Securities Commissions.  He coordinates and oversees the preparation of financials and Management Discussion & Analysis.  He is also responsible for the administration of securities matters, including stock options, warrants, share issuances, consolidations, and debt financings.

 

From January 2005 to June 2008, Mr. Morrison held the position of Relationship Manager with Computershare Investor Services.  He worked with the senior management of many public companies and assisted clients with stock transfer requirements for corporate actions, such as initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions.  He was also responsible for achieving budgeted revenue.

 

Mr. Morrison completed his Business Administration Diploma in April 2002 and then obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2004.
